This American Brown is brewed to bring the best of both worlds, bold roasted malt flavour meets great American hops. Loaded with chocolate and biscuit malt, plenty of late kettle hops, and a modest dry hop to round out this beer.
Labrador is famous for its vast wilderness where sky, forest, and lakes extend across the landscape. When considering the naming of this beer, we endeavoured to draw attention to the vast forests of northern Canada and their importance to our livelihood and culture. We also believe this is the perfect brew to have around a campfire, after a day out at the cabin, after a hard day at work, or really any occasion.

“Similar roasted, malty flavour as our Rail Bender Red Ale with an Oh so sweet addition of hops to add to bit of bitterness”
THE STYLE
The American Brown Ales style features medium intensity flavour and aromas, of roasted malt, caramel and chocolate-like characters. A malt dominate style that is complemented with medium bitterness and hops.
THE HISTORY
Inspired by English style brown ales and porters. American homebrewers created a brew with a similar taste but like a lot of American styles added some bitterness, with American hops.
